1. Acceptance
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the RouteForge platform (“Platform”, “Service”, “we”).
By creating an account, signing in (including via Google), accepting at registration, or using any feature, you (“User”, “you”) agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Definitions
For these Terms:
- Account: individual profile for authenticated access.
- Roadmap: structured study path with steps on the Platform.
- Credits: internal units consumed for features (e.g. roadmap creation, prompt improvement).
- Plan: subscription tier (e.g. Starter/trial, Plus, Pro) with credits and feature rules.
- User Content: prompts, notes, progress, and other materials you submit or generate.
- AI Content: outputs produced by integrated AI models.
3. Eligibility and account
The Service is for users aged 18 or older. You represent you have legal capacity to agree.
You are responsible for account security and activity after authentication. Report unauthorized use promptly.
One account per person. Do not create fake, duplicate, or unauthorized accounts.
We may verify identity or suspend accounts with inconsistent or fraudulent data.
4. Service description
RouteForge helps you create, organize, and track AI-assisted study roadmaps, including step generation, prompt improvement, progress tracking, gamification, and notifications.
The Service evolves continuously. Features may change, be limited, or discontinued when required for technical, legal, or business reasons.
We do not guarantee specific learning outcomes, exam results, or career progress.
5. Plans, credits, and payments
Some features depend on your plan and available credits.
Credits are consumed per rules shown in the app. Credits may renew monthly per plan or via promotional milestones.
In test environments, billing may be simulated without storing card data. Real payment providers may add their own terms when enabled.
You may cancel renewal in settings; paid plans may remain active until the end of the paid period as shown in the UI.
Unused credits in a period are generally not automatically refunded unless required by law or a stated policy.
6. AI-generated content
AI Content is generated from your prompts and step context. It is educational and suggestive only.
Review links, timelines, and recommendations before relying on them for study, work, or important decisions.
Do not use the Service to generate illegal, discriminatory, infringing, or unnecessarily sensitive content.
We are not liable for AI inaccuracies or outdated information within legal limits.
7. User conduct
You must not use RouteForge to:
- Violate laws or third-party rights.
- Access other users’ data without authorization.
- Abuse automation (bots, mass scraping, denial-of-service).
- Bypass credits, plans, or security controls.
- Distribute malware, spam, or offensive content.
- Resell or sublicense the Service without permission.
8. Intellectual property
The Platform, brand, UI, code, and institutional materials belong to RouteForge or licensors.
You retain rights in User Content. You grant us a limited license to host, process, and display it to operate the Service (including AI providers).
You may use AI Content for personal study. Mass resale as a competing product without permission is not allowed.
9. Privacy
Personal data processing is governed by our Privacy Policy, incorporated into these Terms.
You may export data and delete your account via settings or authenticated API endpoints.
10. Availability and changes
We aim for availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Maintenance may cause temporary downtime.
We may update these Terms. Material changes may require new acceptance or in-app notice.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts for Terms violations, fraud risk, security risk, or legal requirements.
You may delete your account in settings. Associated data is removed per the Privacy Policy and legal retention.
After termination, usage rights end except clauses that must survive (e.g. liability limits).
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RouteForge is not liable for lost profits, data loss, or indirect or consequential damages.
Total liability, when not excluded by law, is limited to fees paid in the last 12 months, or zero if no fees were paid.
Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be limited by law.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify RouteForge against third-party claims arising from your misuse, Terms violations, or infringement of third-party rights, within legal limits.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil.
Consumer forum rules apply where mandatory under Brazilian consumer protection law.
15. General
Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
If a clause is invalid, the rest remains in effect.
These Terms are the entire agreement unless a separate written contract applies.
